API and third-party integrations
Cloud-based data synchronization

We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time without prior notice.

4. Account Registration

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account.

You agree to:

Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials;
Be responsible for all activities occurring under your account;

Maintaining backups and system functionality.

We do not claim ownership of your User Content.

8. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

Use the Service for unlawful purposes;
Upload malware, viruses, or malicious code;
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or accounts;
Reverse engineer, copy, modify, or distribute the Service;
Interfere with Service security or functionality;
Use automated systems that excessively burden our infrastructure;
Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights.

Violation of this section may result in immediate suspension or termination.

9. Data Processing and Storage

QuickReceipt processes uploaded documents to provide receipt management and expense tracking services.

You acknowledge that:

OCR technology may not achieve 100% accuracy;
Users remain responsible for verifying extracted information;
We may store data on secure cloud infrastructure located in the United Kingdom, European Economic Area, United States, Japan, or other approved locations;
Data retention periods may vary according to the subscription plan.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

We process personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including:

UK GDPR
EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
Applicable United States privacy laws
Japanese privacy regulations where applicable

15. Limitation of Liability

Averlyon LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities.

Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
